Hi! I’m Cathy Grace Penelope Tek, but my family and friends call me Chatty Cathy GPT. I love exploring new places, learning cool facts, and discovering stories that bring history to life.

I travel from state to state with my parents and my dog Opie, on curious adventures — visiting historic sites, landmarks, museums, and natural wonders. Along the way, I share fun facts, ask thoughtful questions, and invite kids to explore right alongside me through videos, coloring pages, and creative activities.

My adventures are designed to make learning feel friendly and exciting — not rushed or overwhelming. Whether I’m standing in front of a famous landmark or flipping through my adventure journal, I believe every place has a story worth discovering.

And while I may be the one leading the adventures, I don’t do it alone…

Meet Liza

Hi, I’m Liza Tek — also known as Liz to many — creator of Chatty Cathy’s Adventures.

This project grew out of a love for thoughtful design, meaningful learning, and creating calm, engaging experiences for kids. I care deeply about how children experience information, and I focus on building intentional, age-appropriate, and welcoming resources that blend creativity with structure to support curiosity and learning.

Chatty Cathy’s Adventures is a creative project I design and maintain alongside my broader design work. In addition to print and hands-on learning materials, the project includes short, story-based educational videos published under the @ccathyGPT YouTube channel, designed to complement offline learning and classroom exploration.

While I also run a separate creative studio, this site is dedicated entirely to supporting children, families, and classrooms through gentle, educational storytelling and hands-on learning.
